Robert Williams — President of eMediaRep (MSM’s parent company) and National Public Broadcasting Interactive.
Robert Williams founded National Public Broadcasting in September of 1997 and currently serves as its President and CEO. Mr. Williams’ first career was as co-founder and associate publisher of The Real Paper, a weekly newspaper published in Boston in the 1970s. He then went on to found National Cable Advertising (NCA) in 1981, which he later merged with Katz Media to create National Cable Communications in 1995. He oversaw National Cable’s growth from inception to 14 offices with 225 employees and over $200 million in annual sales. Mr. Williams is currently active in developing a new economic model for public broadcasting that bundles on-air underwriting with on-line sponsorship.
Nate Westheimer — Director
Nate Westheimer in a New York City-based Internet entrepreneur and tech community organizer with a background in social media and web trends. He joined the National Public Broadcasting Interactive team in early 2007 and engages with its publishers to develop their interactive and social media strategy. During the Summer of 2007, Westheimer began work on a new project to support mission-driven websites in his native social media space called Mission Social Media. Nate blogs regularly about new media and web trends at innonate.com and is also Founder and CEO of stealth-mode web publishing company BricaBox.com.
